how much RAM do you have in your computer? if its below 3 gigs it cant handle larger file/larger brushes so it tends to leave that bubly mark behind. you should use a smaller brush and work with it a bit slower.
Try to work with a smaller image size. Also helps if your PS is working with a Mac instead of a PC. Mac programs work better on Macs. I tried Painter on my Mac...which is a PC program...and I hated it soooo much.
WOW!!!! I love your tutorial!! Too bad I have photoshop 7 ! But I'm sure there are other ways that can compare to the blending you demonstrated. Thanks a lot, that's what I call a useful tutorial! Well, for someone who start with photoshop that is! It's very well explained and illustrate, I thank you very much!!!!!
This was fascinating! I do some of the things you mentioned; but the three zones (yellow/red/blueish) was new information, and i must admit, I laughed at the liquidfy-expressions. They seem so funny for such a sober guy. XD
its actually a more advanced tip. my husband and i spent alot of time just searching for the right skintone, and sutmbled upon the info on an awesome painting blog.and the skin never looked the same again
